We’ve seen some intriguing matches and some shock results already as the English top flight, once again, looks set to be a nine-month rollercoaster.
Chelsea have been hammered 4-0 by Manchester United and held to a 2-2 draw by Sheffield United, Tottenham Hotspur drew with Manchester City and Arsenal but have also lost to Newcastle, while the Gunners were easily brushed aside by Liverpool.
Elsewhere, Norwich City look ready to attack every team they face so expect goals when they play and Brighton and Hove Albion look like they can both trouble teams and get thrashed, which makes them an unpredictable prospect.
