Sana's Beauty Opens At Trumbull Mall, More New Businesses Coming Soon

TRUMBULL, CT — Sana’s Beauty Esthetics, a health and beauty studio specializing in eyelash extensions, threading, henna, body treatments and more, recently opened a new location at the Trumbull Mall.

Director of Economic and Community Development Rina Bakalar said owner Saima Qureshi was excited to bring her services to the Trumbull community.

“Sana’s is a great addition to the mall,” Bakalar said to Patch. “They already have a number of clients from Trumbull, Fairfield and Westport, so this location makes sense for existing clients and new clients. The market demographics of the area are favorable.”

Bakalar also noted Sana’s location within the mall, on the main level by Door 6 near The Cheesecake Factory and Express, attracts some of the heaviest foot traffic in the building.

“They have henna artists on the staff and offer beautiful designs. I don’t know of too many places in the area that offer this,” Bakalar said. “I also think their location within the mall is very good.”

Chris Powers, general manager at Namdar Realty Group LLC, the mall’s owner, said he and his team were thrilled Qureshi chose to open up shop at the mall.

“We are very excited to welcome her and her team,” Powers said in a statement sent to Patch, “and look forward to their success here.”

Sana’s held its official grand opening at the mall on Aug. 9. The opening marks one of four new tenants anticipated to open at the mall in the coming weeks.

Later this fall, a Fun Spot Arcade is scheduled to open at the mall, offering an all-new entertainment experience designed for kids, teens and young adults and packed with the latest video games, classic favorites and cutting-edge interactive attractions, according to Bakalar.

“We are seeing foot traffic increases as the Target parking garage is reopening,” Bakalar said. “We are seeing an increase in tenant interest. We are working closely with the mall management and ownership to encourage positive improvements to the facility. We are seeing progress, not as fast as I would like, but progress. We have also connected with the mall’s public relations staff in order to do more positive promotion of all that is available.”
