Paul Pogba to stay at Manchester United, confirms Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – ‘He’ll be playing for us’

The United boss dismissed the speculation following Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Southampton in the Premier League.

Pogba has played in every game of the Red Devils’ sluggish start to the season – claiming five points from their opening four games – and Solskjaer has made it clear the Frenchman is a key figure in his plans.

And yet, rumours about a possible move to Spain have not gone away.

Earlier in the summer the midfielder admitted he wanted to leave Old Trafford, saying it is ‘time for a new challenge’, and his agent Mino Raiola is reportedly still trying to get him out of the club before the European transfer window shuts on September 2.

Reports this week claimed Raiola had made one last plea to United to let him go, but that Pogba is now willing to wait a year to make his dream move to the Bernabeu.
