LOS ANGELES, CA — Heavy rush hour downpours caused crashes and flooding on Los Angeles area freeways Thursday morning especially on the Westside.
The California Highway Patrol has issued a SigAlert for the San Diego (405) Freeway due to a spinout and another for the Santa Monica (10) Freeway due to flooding.
At 8:17 a.m., the CHP issued a SigAlert for the 10 Freeway at Mcclure Tunnel where flooding shut down eastbound lanes. It wasn’t immediately clear how long the closure would last.

Shortly before 7 a.m., the CHP issued a SigAlert for the 405/105 connector due to a spinout collision.
