What inspired you to start your charity?

Anthony Suppa, a United States Marine Corps veteran and the founder of Slice of Charity. For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt a deep calling to help those in need. Throughout my years in the military and beyond, I witnessed the strength of community, and it became clear to me that together, we can accomplish far more than we can on our own. This belief is what led me to found Slice of Charity.

Over 10 years ago, I began organizing toy drives with a simple goal: to bring joy to children during the holiday season. But what started as a small initiative to give back quickly grew into something much more powerful. I realized that there were many more ways I could help, and that the need for support went far beyond toys. It was about ensuring that children didn’t go hungry or feel one ounce of pain, that no parent ever felt alone, and that families struggling through tough times knew they had a community that cared.

Every child, to me, represents innocence, hope, and a future full of possibilities. I’ve always believed that no child should ever have to feel fear or hunger, and no parent should ever have to worry about their child’s safety and well-being. Unfortunately, I’ve seen the heartache that so many families face, and it became my mission to do something about it.

That’s when Slice of Charity was born. I wanted to bring together multiple organizations, resources, and individuals who share the same values — to create a larger, more powerful impact. By uniting our efforts, we could reach more children and families, offering them the support they desperately needed.

Over the years, Slice of Charity has become more than just a toy drive or a charity organization; it’s become a movement of kindness, a way for all of us to make a difference together. I’ve always had a special place in my heart for helping those in need, especially children. There’s something about a child’s smile that reminds me of why I started this journey. Every toy we provide, every meal we share, every hand we extend — it all matters.

Today, Slice of Charity continues to grow, with the goal of bringing people together to change lives. Whether it’s through providing toys, food, or emotional support, we’re here to make sure that no child goes to bed hungry, no family faces their struggles alone, and no one ever feels forgotten.

Remember, every slice counts. Every little bit — whether it’s time, money, or support — has the power to change lives. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished, but there’s still so much more to do. With your help, we can continue to make the world a better place, one act of kindness at a time.

Thank you for being part of this journey and helping us spread hope and love where it’s needed most.
