According to L’Équipe Olympique de Marseille want to loan out young defender Souleymane Isaak Touré (19), who signed in the summer from Ligue 2 side Le Havre. The Olympians meanwhile will be counting on the fitness of centre-back Eric Bailly, who is returning from injury.
Isaak Touré signed for Marseille in the summer for €5.5m, choosing to turn down a substantial offer from Premier League giants Manchester City and staying in France on a 5-year deal. If he signed for the Premier League side, he would have been loaned out to fellow City Group football club, Troyes – yet Marseille managed to convince the player to stay in France.
However, Isaak Touré has only made five appearances thus far this season, being played more often than not out-of-position in the wing-back position by manager Igor Tudor. Thus, Marseille are looking for a loan-deal to see the player receive more game time in what is a vital stage of his development at the age of 19.
