Solskjaer has been warned his job could soon be under threat if United’s form does not improve soon, with the Red Devils enduring a poor start to the Premier League.

After six games, United have two wins, two draws and two defeats.

However, United’s problems stretch back further than the start of the new campaign, with the stats reading badly for Solskjaer’s long-term future.

The Old Trafford legend broke records as interim manager, winning his first six matches in charge and collecting the most points of any top flight manager in his first ten games at the helm.

But United have claimed just four league wins in 14 games since getting the job on a full-time basis in March, while scoring just 15 goals.
