‘Manchester United or Arsenal could drop out of top six next season’ – Harry Redknapp predicts tough seasons for struggling Premier League giants

The former Tottenham boss has told talkSPORT United are ‘miles behind’, the Gunners are defensively weak and predicts both sides will struggle this season.

In their place, Redknapp believes Wolves and Everton [who finished seventh and eighth last season, respectively] will challenge for a European place, as well as former club West Ham, who have already strengthened with the addition of Villarreal midfielder Pablo Fornals and have also been linked with a deal for Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gomez.

United are said to be close to the £50m signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, while Arsenal reportedly only have around £40m to play with this summer.

And Redknapp believes it could be a bleak year for the struggling giants.
