The Reds are returning Istanbul 14 years on from their Champions League win as current European champions.
It is an all English tie thanks to Chelsea winning the Europa League, with commentary of Wednesday’s match coming live on talkSPORT.
Liverpool will want to win and we can expect Jurgen Klopp to field a strong side.
They have also had two extra days to recover and prepare as they played on Friday whereas Chelsea played in the 4.30pm kick-off on Sunday.
One notable absentee will be goalkeeper Alisson Becker who is set to miss a number of games with a calf injury.
Apart from the Alisson injury, there are no fresh concerns for Klopp.
“Not really. No ‘injuries’ maybe, but little things after a game, which was an intense one. We have to see, we have time to sort that all,” Klopp told Liverpoolfc.com.
“Wednesday is the game – it was Friday to Wednesday so that should be OK. But after that we need to think about the Southampton game, we come back on Thursday and two days later we play Southampton, so we cannot ignore that game as well.
“So we will see, but real injuries, no, little knocks, yes.”
