Justin Edinburgh: Cheltenham Town fans raise money for giant flag to remember late Leyton Orient manager

Orient host Cheltenham on August 3 in League Two and will be their first competitive game since Edinburgh’s death earlier this month.

Crowdfunding for a special memorial flag saw the £505 target reached in just over five hours.

The giant flag, measuring 24 feet x 12 feet, will feature a picture of Edinburgh with the words ‘he made you dream again’.

The tribute was organised by Cheltenham fans’ groups 1887 Red Army and Robins Trust.

Bob Mills pays an emotional tribute to Justin Edinburgh

A message on the crowdfunding page said: “It’s sure to be a hugely difficult and emotional day for Orient fans. It will be their first match without their manager who died last month and we’d like to send a clear message of support from our fans, to theirs.

“We hope this tribute will show the love and empathy of the entire football community.”
