This week, we know her as Lorelai Gilmore, but not too long ago, Lauren Graham was making weekly appearances as another TV mom, Parenthood’s Sarah Braverman.
For Graham, her role on the NBC series was more than just a departure from her beloved Gilmore Girls character; it allowed her to fall in love with co-star and current boyfriend, Peter Krause.
In the actress’s upcoming book of essays, Talking as Fast as I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls (and Everything in Between) ($17; amazon.com), Graham discusses the beginning of her relationship with the Six Feet Under actor, writing, “At our age we’d probably both been through ‘showmances’ that went south and made work an uncomfortable place to be … ultimately our mutual wariness gave way—it just sort of happened.”
