Speaking as part of her appearance on our Presidents Podcast, FFF & FA licensed agent Jennifer Mendelewitsch discussed the future of one of her most promising clients in frank fashion.
“To be honest, his expectations are to play with Nantes in the first team and it always has been that. When he did, he played very well. So yes, frustration is growing and it is the same for all the players who are in this situation. In the meantime, you can see at several clubs in France you can be 17 years old and play (Eduardo Camavinga). You’re questioning yourself, you’re questioning your agent too. Because to be honest I am still under contract with Thomas but I am not sure it is going to last long because when you have this level of frustration I think sometimes players are looking for excuses and they are blaming everyone. But the thing is in his case, he is a very good player and in Nantes for now, when he played, he played very well. His time will come, I am very sure of that, he has the level and quality to play, but he needs to be patient.”
