According to an exclusive story from SFR Sport, Premier League side Chelsea rejected an offer worth €107m from Chinese side Tianjin Quanjian for striker Diego Costa last month.
The Chinese side offered Costa a salary of €100m over the course of three years, an offer that the player wanted to take, but Chelsea blocked him from doing so. This was the source of the dispute between player and club last month that saw Costa train away from the first team for a few days.
Since that occurred, Chelsea made a considerable wage hike contract extension offer to the player, which has shown with his picking up of form again, according to the report.
However the story might not end there: Chelsea are alleged to have told the Chinese club that they would consider a €150m offer in the summer for Diego Costa.
