MANSFIELD, CT — A car hit a tree over the weekend in Mansfield.
The crash took place at 9:32 p.m. Saturday, according to a state police crash report.
State police said a 2014 Toyota Camry being driven by a 21-year-old Mansfield woman was headed west on Puddin Lane about 100 feet shy of the Sawmill Brook Lane. The car veered off the road and struck what state described as “a large tree.”

The driver escaped injury, but the car was wrecked with “functional damage,” state police said.
