But despite allegedly nearing a move to Old Trafford on many occasions, the World Cup winner revealed he actually prefers Liverpool to the Red Devils.
And he hopes the Reds’ excellent fans get to see their side lift the Premier League trophy, as they ‘deserve’ to be crowned English champions again.
“In terms of teams I admire Liverpool because of the fans. Hopefully one day they will win the league again,” Griezmann told Sky Sports.
