WWE Hall Of Famer, Edge made his return to the company at the WWE Royal Rumble, and now further details have been revealed about his new contract.
According to Wrestle Zone, Edge did meet with AEW to discuss potentially working with them after he knew he could wrestle again, before ultimately signing with WWE.
More details have now been made clear about the length of his contract and how many matches he will be working courtesy of Alex McCarthy of TalkSPORT.
The report stated that Edge’s current deal is for three years at $3 million-a-year, with the WWE Hall Of Famer being paid in full if he manages to compete three times per year.
Edge has reportedly committed to working five matches per year, which does include the Royal Rumble for 2020, therefore you can expect him to work at least four more matches this year, with one likely to be WWE WrestleMania 36.
On top of those appearances, Edge is also scheduled to make 25 appearances per year on television, for shows such as WWE Raw or WWE SmackDown.
