Atletico Madrid are reportedly considering a proposal including Manchester United target Kieran Trippier, which would see Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin moving in the opposite direction.
MARCA claim former Tottenham full-back Trippier – a popular and respected figure in La Liga – may well end up at the Emirates this summer.
The report states that Atletico’s sporting director, Andrea Berta, is a big admirer of Gunners counterpart Bellerin – who talkSPORT understands is open to moving abroad.
The Spanish media outlet say that the option of ‘making an exchange between Spain and England can be studied’.
However, the prospect of that coming to fruition remains in the balance – with Trippier said to be looking at houses in the Manchester area.
The Athletic also claim that United’s Director of football negotiations Matt Judge is in dialogue with Atletico over Trippier.
