Silva is under increasing pressure on Merseyside after overseeing four successive Premier League defeats that have left the Toffees in the relegation zone.
Finding the net has been a serious problem for Everton, who have scored just six goals in their opening eight top-flight games this season.
Only Watford (4) and Newcastle (5) have scored fewer goals than Silva’s men.
A defeat at home to eighth-placed West Ham, a game which is LIVE on talkSPORT, could spell the end for the Portuguese coach.
Playing West Ham was a fixture most Everton fans used to look forward to, especially with Romelu Lukaku leading the line.
The Belgium striker scored an impressive nine goals in eight games against the Hammers in an Everton shirt.
Lukaku netted 87 times in 116 appearances for Everton in total, which earned him a £75million move to Manchester United in 2017.
Since then, despite signing strikers Sandro Ramirez, who has been shipped out on loan three times, Wayne Rooney, Cenk Tosun and Moise Kean, the club have failed to replace his goals.

Rooney is the only Everton striker to score against West Ham since Lukaku’s exit, when he netted a hat-trick which included a 59-yard wonder strike.
This summer, Everton spent a combined total of £65million on attacking reinforcements in Alex Iwobi and Kean, but the pair are yet to hit the ground running.
