RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — Looking for a job in law enforcement? This weekend, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is hosting a career expo designed to provide information about working in the agency’s corrections division and the hiring process.
The free-to-attend Corrections Career Expo takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 10 at Indio’s John J. Benoit Detention Center, 82675 Highway 111. The event is open to all members of the public.
“This is your opportunity to see what our Corrections Division has to offer. Attendees will have the chance to meet with Correctional Deputies and learn about specialized units within Corrections, such as the Emergency Response Team, Transportation, and Classification, and even get the chance to tour a jail bus,” according to a news release from the sheriff’s department.

The department’s recruiters will be onsite to provide career information and application assistance to those interested in joining the law enforcement agency. The department has current openings and is actively hiring for correctional deputy trainee, court deputy, deputy sheriff trainee, 911 dispatcher, and multiple support positions, according to the agency.
