Virat Kohli fans have had to wait for a long time for him to score his 71st international ton.
But for one particular fan, it has really been long.
Some years ago, Aman Agarwal held a placard at a stadium saying he will not marry until Kohli hits his 71st century.
Kohli has finally done so and Aman has an update on his wedding.
Kohli scored his 70th 100 vs Bangladesh in 2019.

The century drought ended in 2022 when Kohli’s 71st came in 2022 vs Afghanistan in the T20 Asia Cup.
Keeping his word, Aman tied the knot after Kohli scored his 71st 100.
Not only this, when Aman got married on January 15, Kohli made his 74th century.
“I asked for the 71st century but he scored 74th on my special day,” Aman tweeted a day later.
Kohli has the most international tons among active players and is 2nd on the overall list after Sachin Tendulkar who leads the pack with 100 tons.

The 34-year-old also needs just 4 ODI centuries to go past Sachin’s world record of 49 and it could happen by the time 2023 came to an end, possibly in the World Cup if not before.
In 2022, Kohli not only broke his century drought but also ended his 100-less streak in T20Is.
The man now has 100s across all formats of international cricket.
In Tests, Kohli has scored 27 tons.
