Qatar Sports Investment, led by PSG’s billionaire president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, are set to meet with the Leeds owner in Doha on Monday to discuss a potential takeover.
The Qatari businessman, 45, bought the French club in 2011 and quickly became notorious for huge investment – spending £300m on Neymar and Kylian Mbappe alone.
And according to L’Equipe, he is keen to venture out into English football due to PSG’s continued woes in Europe.
The respected French publication reports that Al-Khelaifi has been in talks with Leeds for ‘months’, with Nottingham Forest also on his radar.
