Real Madrid are reportedly making Tottenham attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen a priority transfer target for the summer – which could spell the end of their pursuit of Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.
According to the Independent, the Spanish giants want either Eriksen or Hazard as their big-name signing, but have opened talks over a £100million deal for the Spurs man as they deem him to be a more realistic potential purchase.

Both are among the finest creative players in Europe at the moment, and could undoubtedly do a job for this struggling Madrid side.
Los Blancos are suffering this season after the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus in the summer, and Hazard has long been linked as an ideal like-for-like replacement.
While Eriksen is not exactly the same kind of player, he is another top attacker who would surely be an improvement on players like Isco, Marco Asensio and Gareth Bale after their lack of impact this term.
