WWE Clash Of Champions Results
KEVIN OWENS & SAMI ZAYN vs. RANDY ORTON & SHINSUKE NAKAMURA
Referees: Shane McMahon & Daniel Bryan

Things are already tense as Shane stares down a trash-talking Kevin Owens, and Daniel Bryan has to get in between them. Sami Zayn begins the match locking up with Randy Orton, who gets taken into the corner and worked over until Shane makes them break it up. We get an early cover and both referees go to make the count, but they weren’t even counting at the same pace… Nakamura tags in and Sami backs him into the ropes with right hands, and Shane immediately starts yelling at him to break the hold. He’s not happy about the unfair treatment. The crowd is split, with dueling chants for both competitors in the ring.

Owens tags in for the first time and starts throwing wild right hands in the heel corner, then threw the Artist across the ring and followed with a big right hand. Nakamura turns it around and starts throwing his own chops and kicks, hitting a running knee and going for a cover – another double count by the refs that leads to nothing. Bryan decides that they are going to split the ring in half, and they’re each going to referee their own side. This is ridiculous. Orton back in but he quickly gets taken down by Owens and the heels alternate with quick tags to work him over. Sami fires off with slaps and chops, screaming “you can’t take my job!”, and Orton shoves him across the ring in response. He tries to make the tag, but KO cut him off and the best friends go back to work.

After a few minutes Nakamura manages to make a lukewarm tag and fires off with rapid knees to Owens, kicking Sami off the apron with a cheap shot in payback. He does a little Good Vibrations in the corner and tries for a suplex, Owens floats under it but gets caught in the jaw with a crazy flash kick! They fight up to the second rope trading rights and lefts, and Nakamura launches himself to the mat trapping his opponent in a cross armbreaker out of the air! KO struggles in the hold but manages to roll it up, and Daniel makes a close two count as his shoulders were down. Shane gets in his face and argues over why he made the count. Um…his shoulders were down?

Orton tags back into the match and puts Sami on the top rope, sending him flying with a huge superplex. Owens pulls the Viper from the ring and the match breaks down into an all-out brawl. Nakamura comes flying around the corner and starts brawling with Owens, but Sami makes the save and the two put the boots to him. The referees are both on the outside telling everyone to take it back into the ring, but nobody is paying attention. They take apart the commentary table and Owens connects with a running splash, driving Shinsuke through the table as the referees just let it happen!

Sami realizes he’s now completely alone as both Owens and Nakamura are down and out on the outside. Randy Orton goes after him and hits a snap powerslam. He takes him to the apron and connects with the Hangman DDT, lines up to finish off the match and hits a huge RKO! Shane in to make the cover for 1….2… Owens pushed Bryan into the pile to break up the pin! Shane is pissed off now, screaming at the GM trying to figure out what just happened. Orton dropped Owens with an RKO out of nowhere, then rolled up Sami again but only got two. Bryan and Shane went back and forth counting pins but neither hit three.

Sami Zayn then tries a quick rollup on Randy Orton, but Shane refuses to make the count! Sami gets in his faces but McMahon tries to pretend like he didn’t get a three-count, even though the shoulders were clearly down and he just refused to make the last count. Daniel Bryan shakes his head and realizes what he has to do. As they’re aruging, Sami gets a quick rollup out of nowhere, and Bryan makes an extremely quick three-count. It’s over.

Winners: Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn

Bryan left with Owens and Zayn up the ramp, starring down Shane McMahon and shaking his head.
