WWE Smackdown Live star Asuka has been largely absent from story lines since her feud with Carmella, which also included the recently released James Ellsworth.
On Asuka seemingly vanishing from WWE TV, Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE does indeed have plans for Asuka, and there has been talk of turning the former NXT Women’s Champion heel on Smackdown.
