Pizza Chain Permanently Closes Its South Jersey Restaurants

CHERRY HILL, NJ — MOD Pizza has shuttered two of its local eateries, taking the quick-service pizzeria chain out of the Garden State.

MOD Pizza had restaurants in Cherry Hill and Marlton. Both have been removed from the company’s location listings.

The chain did not respond to Patch’s request for comment.

Short for “Made on Demand,” MOD Pizza specializes in individual, customizable pizzas that only take a few minutes to cook. Founded 15 years ago in Seattle, the chain has hundreds of locations across the nation.

The Cherry Hill and Marlton restaurants shuttered last week, according to A View From Evesham, which first reported the closures.

MOD Pizza in Marlton Square opened in 2015, with Cherry Hill’s following a year later on Haddonfield Road.
