GAMBRILLS, MD — A new hot pot and Korean barbecue restaurant opened recently in Gambrills.
The eatery, called T Pot, is located in The Village at Waugh Chapel. It is sandwiched between Frisco Tap House and Eggspectation.
This fills the vacancy left by Grotto Pizza, which has been closed since at least 2019.

This is T Pot’s second location. The other is in Waldorf. The business still seeks more franchisees.
The Gambrills T Pot held its soft opening on Feb. 2 and its grand opening on Feb. 21.

The restaurant’s construction permits were issued in June 2023.
T Pot customers cook their food in the middle of their table. They can choose a soup cauldron (Hot pot) or a grill (Korean barbecue).

Hot pot soup bases include Korean kimchi, Japanese miso and Thai tom yum among others. There are additional choices of meats, vegetables and noodles.
Customers can also walk up to a fresh greenery wall to select garnishes and spices to add to their hot pot.
Barbecue options range from spicy beef bulgogi and pork belly to sliced chicken and garlic shrimp.

You can trust T Pot to provide you with these high quality ingredients at the best price.”
Adults pay $34.99 for hot pot and barbecue. It’s $29.99 if you stick to only hot pot or only barbecue.
There’s a $14 discount for kids ages 7 to 10. It’s $18 off for children 4 to 6. Anybody younger than 3 is free except for drinks.
T Pot is working on getting a liquor license. Once secured, the lengthy bar will open for service.
