Hatchbacks Collide In Concord's North End

CONCORD, NH — Concord police and fire and rescue teams were sent to a two-vehicle crash at the Franklin and Lyndon streets intersection on Saturday.

Around 4 p.m., police and firefighters were sent to the intersection after receiving calls about the crash. Capital region fire dispatch said one person complained of neck pain after the crash.

The first arriving firefighters reported two hatchbacks, a Honda Fit and a Mazda CX-5, with moderate damage, both drivers being evaluated by EMTs and fluid leaks in the street.

About 15 minutes later, both drivers refused to be taken to the hospital, and EMTs cleared the scene. Firefighters stayed at the scene to block traffic for police.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles.
