A video of the horrific incident has been doing rounds on social media. A group of miscreants can be seen attacking Jatin and his family members in the clip, while a woman cries for help.

Narrating the horrific attack, the victim said that he had complained to the manager about the staff, that was later fired and changed. According to reports, the Anjuna police on receiving the information first arrested four accused in the case and levied section 324. However, police later let them go.

Tagging Prime Minister Narendra Modi and media in his social media post, the victim Jatin Sharma states, “Attacked by local gundas, police lodged a case under Section 324 instead of 307. Police had arrested four attackers, but later released them. Case was 307 but registered under 324. FIR does not disclose the names of culprits. Do not visit to @spazioleisureresort Anjuna Goa. No security was provided by the resort. Matter of 307 converted to 324 to help local gundas. Please help us get justice @narendramodi.”

Sharing the ordeal on Instagram, Jatin’s family member too explained, “After an altercation with the staff, the resort discharged them from the duties. Shortly after, when the family was taking a bath in the pool, one of the members spotted 14-15 people outside the resort.”
