New WWE 2K19 MyCareer Mode Trailer Reveals Major Changes Made to This Year’s Game (Video)

2K has dropped a brand new trailer exploring the completely revamped MyCAREER mode for their upcoming WWE 2K19 video game, which is set to hit stores on October 5th.

Last year’s game had the player design a brand new character, briefly training at the WWE Performance Center before making their debut on WWE NXT. The ultimate goal was to make the main roster and slowly work your way up from the bottom of the card to main event WrestleMania and becoming a world champion.

This year the goal is similar, but with what appears to be a TON of new story-driven content to fill in what used to be an incredible tedious process. In the trailer, which you can check out below, the player’s create-a-character actually starts on the indies for a fictional promotion, before drawing attention to himself with a “shoot-style” promo on Triple H himself.

Oh, and it’s been officially confirmed by 2K that ALL the characters in this year’s career mode, including those of the WWE Superstars you’ll be fighting, are fully voice acted!

The new trailer also makes sense of many of the questions we had stemming from the first ever in-game exclusive trailer that dropped last week, which featured glimpses of Woken Matt Hardy’s bizarre multiverse, and Bray Wyatt’s creepy compound. Both elements look too be a part of this year’s more abstract career mode.
