A special Bee Gees anniversary tribute is proving that disco fever is alive and well.
On Sunday night, CBS aired a star-studded February Grammys tribute showcasing a host of music powerhouses including Celine Dion, Demi Lovato, John Travolta and Nick and Joe Jonas joining surviving member Barry Gibb for a groovy salute celebrating the three brothers’ long-spanning career.
Gibb, 70, was honored at the special event, titled “Stayin’ Alive,” which also commemorated the 40th anniversary of Saturday Night Fever—and Travolta was happy to take us back as he showed off some of his renowned dance moves (including that signature pointing pose) to the classic Bee Gees soundtrack while dressed in a black-and-white Tony Manero blazer.
Celine Dion also leant her powerful vocals to the tribute with a rendition of the hit song “Immortality,” which the group wrote for her 1977 album Let’s Talk about Love. She dedicated the performance to the Brothers Gibb as well as her late husband Rene Angelil, who passed away last year.
“Twenty years ago, they gave me the gift of this song,” she said before serenading Gibb wth the emotional ballad. “Tonight, I sing it with love for Barry, as well as for Robin, Maurice, and [my late brother] Andy.”

While twins and bandmates Maurice and Robin passed in 2003 and 2012, current hitmakers including Demi Lovato, Ed Sheeran, Keith Urban, John Legend, Nick Jonas, and Jason DeRulo proved that the music of the Bee Gees is very much alive by performing disco hits from the brothers’ impressive career.

And Gibb himself closed out the tribute on a high note with stirring performances of “Jive Talkin,” “Stayin’ Alive,” and “You Should Be Dancing” for a truly memorable evening.
