Kepa Arrizabalaga makes incredible save to deny Watford goalkeeper BEN FOSTER in dying seconds of Chelsea victory

The stopper, who was signed for a club-record £71m from Athletic Bilbao in 2018, produced a remarkable save to deny BEN FOSTER in the dying moments of Chelsea’s 2-1 over Watford.

After a free-kick was delivered into the box by Gerard Deoleufeu, Hornets shot-stopper Foster powered his header towards goal, however Kepa somehow managed to dive down deep to his left and parry the ball out for a corner.

Just seconds later the referee blew for full time and Kepa had quite literally single-handedly saved Chelsea from dropping two points.

And Foster was so impressed with his opposite number that he even gave him a warm embrace after full time.

In the match, goals from Tammy Abraham and Christian Pulisic proved to be enough for the Frank Lampard’s men to scrape over the line and claim their seventh consecutive away win.

The Blue survived a late scare when Deuleufeu slotted a controversial late penalty, and after the game Lampard said VAR is ‘not in a great place’.

“I have got to be careful. Last week we saw a change in VAR, a clear change in penalties getting overturned,” he said.
