How Tottenham could line-up for Champions League clash with Red Star Belgrade as Christian Eriksen returns to training

A Champions League tie against Red Star at home could be the ideal match to get them back on track.

Their last outing in the competition ended with a 7-2 defeat at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to Bayern Munich.

Spurs have no fresh injury concerns following the 1-1 draw with Watford on Saturday with several players working back to full fitness, including summer signings Ryan Sessegnon and Giovani Lo Celso.

Here is how we think Tottenham will line-up against Red Star Tuesday.

Christian Eriksen missed Tottenham’s draw with Watford on Saturday with a dead leg he picked up on international duty.

He was training with the first team on Monday morning so may well be fit enough to be in the squad but Dele Alli’s performance at the weekend was strong enough to keep Eriksen on the bench when he does return.

Alli had his best game for Tottenham this season and scored the equalising goal late on.

Heung-Min Son also picked up a knock on international duty and was only fit enough for the bench on Saturday.

He is likely to come back into the side in place of Lucas Moura to partner Harry Kane up front.

The rest of the Tottenham midfielder is quite settled at the moment with Tanguy Ndombele a possible returning player alongside Moussa Sissoko and Harry Winks.
