But the Brazil international could be back as early as this month, The Athletic’s James Pearce has claimed.
Pearce provided an update on Alisson’s rehabilitation during a Q&A session, confirming the glovesman has started using Liverpool’s anti-gravity treadmill so he can take part in mobility and strength work without stressing his body.
He also suggested a return date of late September or early October, though due to the international break from October 7-15, Alisson may not be seen in a Liverpool shirt again until the trip to Manchester United on October 20.
