Ipswich signed the striker on a free transfer from Tranmere Rovers after helping the club to back-to-back promotions to League One.
The 28-year-old scored 32 goals in all competitions last season and decided to leave to join a rival League One side.
Norwood has quickly been endearing himself to Ipswich fans by winding up their rivals on Twitter.
The prolific goalscorer wasted no time in having a dig at Norwich following their 4-1 thrashing against Liverpool on Friday night.
He replied to a tweet about the Canaries being in the Premier League and said: “Doesn’t look like you’re going to enjoy it too much.
“What I will say is … enjoy all the new grounds and make sure you take some pics for memories.”
