Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde has all but confirmed Denis Suarez is on his way to Arsenal as this long-running transfer saga seemingly nears a close.
The Spain international has long been strongly linked with the Gunners and Valverde has now been quoted by dedicated Arsenal news Twitter account Arsenic as stating there isn’t much left for the move to become official and that the deal is on the verge of completion.

Suarez looks an exciting potential addition for Arsenal, who could do with more options in midfield after a difficult first half of the season.
While the 25-year-old has not exactly set the world alight at Barcelona, he has previously shone under Arsenal manager Unai Emery during their time together at Sevilla.
He should also be an upgrade on inconsistent performers like Granit Xhaka in midfield, while Aaron Ramsey’s future is also in serious doubt as he’s due to be out of contract at the end of the season.
