Bayern Munich’s pursuit of Callum Hudson-Odoi doesn’t look to have stopped, as the German giants look set to go back in for the Chelsea winger in the summer.
Bayern failed with a number of offers for the 18-year-old in the winter transfer window just gone, however it doesn’t look like this is going to put Niko Kovac’s side off pursuing the winger just yet.
According to the Sun, Bayern’s Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has confirmed the club are already eyeing up a transfer swoop in the summer for the £45M-rated man, and are willing to pay the player a wage of £85,000-a-week.
Hudson-Odoi is one of the most promising young wingers currently playing in the Premier League, and it’s no surprise to hear that Bayern are still very much keen on bringing in the England youth star.
The Blues ace has struggled to get consistent game time at Stamford Bridge in recent months, with the player only managing to clock up a handful of first team appearances for Maurizio Sarri’s side.
Bayern are set to go back in for Hudson-Odoi at the end of the season
The winger’s lack of first team minutes may play a part in him sealing a move away from west London, as Hudson-Odoi may feel like his chances of getting first team football are better elsewhere, news that, if it turns out to be true, would be music to Bayern’s ears.
It might be worth keeping an eye on this one, folks, as it looks like it could get interesting…
